Process

No matter how big or how small your project is, Blacksnow Media employs a time-honored design and development process to ensure project completion on-time, on-budget, according to your specific goals, and with a standard of quality that we bet our reputation on.

We call this process “The 4 Phases of Success”.

Phase 1: Envision

During the Envision Phase we work with the client to get a clear picture of exactly what the goals of the project are from a business perspective. With the business problem, project goals, and anticipated audience in mind, we determine the scope of the client’s project and create a solution proposal.

Phase 2: Design

During the Design Phase we spec out specifically what will be built by outlining product design goals, requirements, features, dependencies, and sample web interfaces. We complete this phase by building a detailed plan that describes how the product will be built, and describe when and in what order it will be built.

Phase 3: Build

During the Build phase, Blacksnow Media will focus on creating detailed designs, developing web pages and source code, and testing the components of the application. As the project is being built, we go through a series of intermediate testing as segments are completed and integrated.

Phase 4: Stabilize

The Stabilize phase begins with the System Test and user acceptance (beta) tests of the product and ends when the customer accepts the product as complete. Testing during this phase emphasizes usage and real-world testing. Blacksnow Media focuses on resolving and triaging bugs and getting the product ready to deploy.
